Raymarine DeviceNet (Female) to STNG Spur (Female) Adaptor Cable is a branch cable through which you can connect devices with NMEA2000 Male connectors to the Raymarine STNG network. The connection is made from the back of the NMEA2000 device to the white socket of the STNG connector. The BackBone cable that runs from the beginning to the end of the STNG network in the boat is connected to the blue sockets of the STNG connector. It is reasonable to create a network from BackBone cables of different lengths in such a way that it is possible to make breaks and add T-connectors or 5-Way connectors in places where it is necessary to add different STNG or NMEA2000 instruments. The BackBone is the main cable of the STNG network and to start, continue or end the network, STNG terminators, connectors and 12V power must be added. STNG Blue and white cables cannot be connected incorrectly, in addition to the color coding, STNG cables also have a different pin arrangement. Before using the product, familiarize yourself with the working principle of the STNG (NMEA2000) network. NB! The blue and white nuts on the sockets of STNG fittings should only be turned a quarter turn. The corresponding markings are marked on the product.
