At one end of the anchor line (the one closest to the anchor) is a 3 meter long chain, which is protected by a wear guard made of wear-resistant polyester. This protection is to reduce the rattle that can occur in connection with the anchor line being pulled over the boat’s rail, or when the rope is in the boat. The chain also ensures that our anchor line with chain sets the anchor in the correct position when it settles on the bottom. PolyRope’s anchor line ends with a straight shackle ready to be attached directly to the anchor.
