The Ocean Signal PLB3 personal locator beacon combines 406 MHz, 121.5 MHz and AIS distress messaging in one PLB. By combining the individual technologies for making emergency calls, the chances of a quick rescue are significantly increased. Using the wireless NFC connection, you can access activity history, battery status programming information of the PLB3 using an app.
The MOB1 communicates with the vessel you have been separated from and other vessels in the vicinity (up to 5 miles range dependent on conditions). MOB1 is intended to be installed within the life-jacket and will activate automatically on inflation, sending the fi rst alert within 15 seconds. The integrated strobe light ensures maximum visibility in low light conditions.
