Raymarine STNG BackBone (blue/black) cable, as the name suggests, is the “backbone” cable. The BackBone cable runs from the beginning to the end of the STNG network in the boat and it is wise to assemble the network from cables of different lengths in such a way that it is possible to make breaks and add T-connectors or 5-Way connectors at places where different STNG instruments need to be added. BackBone is the main cable of the STNG network and to start, continue or end the network, STNG terminators, connectors and 12V power must be added. STNG Blue and white cables cannot be connected incorrectly, in addition to the color coding, STNG cables also have a different pin arrangement. Before using the product, familiarize yourself with the working principle of the STNG (NMEA2000) network. NB! The blue and white nuts of the STNG connector sockets should only be turned a quarter turn. The corresponding markings are marked on the product.
